Meet Ashley

Ashley is keenly interested in sport and exercise. He competes in cross-country running and duathlons, which he took up at the tender age of 60. He also coached junior football teams for 16 years and has played football himself for 25 years. Consequently he has a lot of experience treating sports injuries, both on the field and afterwards in his practice.

Still passionate and committed to his work, Ashley is a member of the General Osteopathic Council (GOsC), who are dedicated to the lifelong study of osteopathy. He also attends regular Postgraduate training courses to continue to develop his understanding and skills.

Seeing people as unique individuals, recognising that they have thoughts and feelings, ambitions and aspirations just like anyone else, is fundamentally important in Ashley’s practice.

Success

Ashley’s commitment to a healthy lifestyle has brought success in his sporting life by practicing what he preaches. He is a healthy, fit seventy-something living a full and vibrant life athletically as well as continuing a successful career as a health professional.

In 2019 in his age category, he won the European Duathlon Championships in Romania and received a Gold Medal and in Spain In the World Championships he got a Bronze Medal.
